Personal & Professional Experience

Over the past 20 years, I have worked with hundreds of clients suffering from fatigue, hormone imbalances, resistant weight loss, sleep disturbance, intestinal conditions and many other debilitating problems. By removing the interference and applying an ancestral based health approach, I have seen many people rally to new levels of vitality.

I am certified in functional testing, adapted ketogenic coaching, and maintain close relationships with many of the top practitioners in the integrative health space. Recently, I was chosen to be part of an elite group of health advocates offering a proven, comprehensive, program to support individuals in reclaiming their health.

I was personally exposed to the challenges that arise with chronic health conditions when my young daughter became ill.  After many visits to multiple doctors failed to identify the problem, I began researching and initiated a total lifestyle change for our entire family. I uncovered that this illness was triggered by the something in the environment.

Experience with chronic conditions was now on the radar for me. Not long after buying a new home, I began to experience debilitating fatigue, unexplained pain, and brain fog. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I was not satisfied with this diagnosis, and it led me to dig in and search for the CAUSE and ultimately find a resolution for this horrible illness.

After many years of suffering, I finally discovered I was battling the effects of toxic mold exposure. There were months of searching for the sources and finally a discovery that a shower drain had leaked for 14 years. Ultimately we successfully remediated our house from mold and I was able to begin the work on myself.

My Education and Early Career Path

My passion for health began in my 20’s after the sudden loss of my mother.  The impact of this tragic event initiated my desire to empower others to proactively manage their health.  I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and later went on to study Holistic Nutrition at Clayton College of Natural Health. I began working in nutrition in Chicago in 1989. In 1997, I founded a corporation offering nutritional coaching in medical offices.

I took that business and my expertise in nutrition directly to the medical establishment and worked with doctors and chiropractors to positively influence the eating habits of their clients. My general philosophy was to eliminate processed carbohydrates and man-made fats, as well as choosing an organic, seasonal diet, whenever possible. These changes produced incredible improvements in the health of the clients involved, and soon others joined in the campaign. The doctors involved saw dramatic reductions in the need for particular medications and began to refer other doctors to me.  This was a very novel concept in the late nineteen-nineties, but was warmly received by the client population and doctors in numerous medical offices.

Over the past 20 years, I have witnessed the frustration and unnecessary pain experienced when lab reports are inconclusive, and a diagnosis offers only a lifetime of suffering and medication to manage the symptoms. It is my mission to be a health advocate for those in need of a solution that allows them to truly HEAL and return to the life they love. I believe that our bodies are designed such that if you find and remove the interference in the body, you can overcome these challenges. Exceptional health can be obtained as you restore the function of the body at the cellular level.
